Obligatory Dog Photographs

March 6th, 2007 · 6 Comments

Nero sleepingNero pawNero dozingNero dozingShort of working up a site on Dogster, I'm going to have out subject (all three of) you to an obligatory round of dog photographs.

My last dog -- Maverick (yes, as in Lt. Pete Mitchell, don't bug me about it) -- was a black lab/German Shepard mix and much, much larger.

Nero just passed six months in age, but to my chargin, remains quite wee. She's around 30 pounds now but her growth rate is definitely tailing off. The vet says she's sleek and muscular, which I've interpreted as code for "she's finished growing". I can personally vouch for the strength bit, as she wedges me out of bed on a nightly basis.

What she lacks in size she makes up for in cuteness, absurd tail length, and top-notch licking ability.

kshippychic: Thanks! Funny you dropped by -- I was sifting through the cupboard this past week and actually found a (frighteningly old) box of KD; reminded me of the post on your site!

She is a cutie. This was my dog, Shawny. And this is my sister's dog who I took care of for a little over a year.
    You have a great website.

Roshan: Aww, Shawny looks like a great dog. No better friend than a retriever! Thanks for checking out my site, I'll be sure to drop by 'awake and dreaming', too!

[...] As with my previous review, I’d recommend removing as much dust and debris as possible before installing. Particles stuck between the computer and case are obvious (and annoying). The Apple logo on my machine seems to be a magnet for dog hair. [...]
