    All sorts of Linux-specific information for D70 owners, including detailed connectivity instructions and a nice list of application resources.
  2. IExif
    Exif/GPS/IPTC browser. Can also calculate total number of frames shot with the D70 based on embedded photo data.
  3. Exifer for Windows
    A very nice EXIF metadata editor for Windows. Helps preserve EXIF data from original images after post-processing.
  4. Raw Digital Photo Decoding in Linux
    dcraw software for processing RAW images on Linux systems.
  5. gPhoto
    A free, redistributable, ready to use set of digital camera software applications for Unix-like systems; supports the Nikon D70 RAW format.
  6. Microsoft RAW Image Thumbnailer and Viewer for Windows XP
    Provides thumbnails, previews, printing, and metadata display for RAW images from most Canon and Nikon digital cameras. Organize and work with RAW files directly in Windows Explorer in much the same way as with JPEG images.
