Against my better judgement (and regard for time management), I'm going to see Metallica's 'Madly in Anger With the World' tour tomorrow for no other reason than to say that I've done it.

Geeky sorts should probably be upset about Metallica's well-known stance on peer-to-peer file trading, but being only a mild fan at best, I can't bring myself to care much about it.

Even through reviews from the Montreal dates were good, I'm not expecting much from the show. The Corel Centre isn't exactly the best place to see a concert. The fans and sound generally stink, as was painfully evident during the David Bowie concert back in April.

In any event, I'll report back later this week if Lars doesn't beat me for trying to take unlicensed pictures.
