Two glorious tools for your amusement (if you’re paranoid like me):

  • BugMeNot gives you canned username/password combinations to annoying sites that require registration before getting at content (i.e., The New York Times). Be sure to check out the Firefox extension and IE plug-in.
  • Mailinator provides a temporary (but accessible) mailbox you can use to register for product trial downloads, etc.
