Moment of Silence
Toronto couldn't beat Philadelphia on the ice, so I had to exact my revenge in a computer game. I'm still upset that the Flyers got a shot on me.
Philadelphia deserved to win tonight's game simply because they capitalized on several stupid defensive mistakes that Toronto made. The fact that the game went to overtime was a testament to the heart and grit of the Leafs, but I don't feel much like typing out any additional cliches at the moment.
There's not much else to say except that I'll be in on the yearly Vegas pilgrimage in a couple of days -- I'll try to drown my sorrows then. On a positive note, it negates the problem of finding a decent sports book to watch hockey at.
Oh -- You know that IBM commercial where a bunch of IT guys are sitting around and talking about how Thinkpad notebooks can withstand a harsh drop on the floor? It's completely true, and that's all I'll say about that.

I feel your pain all too well, my friend. Go to the Tropicana and have a drink out of a giant glass parrot for me.
