Listening to this band I get the distinct feeling that nothing is stable. The first time you listen might be the last, so pay attention. I visualize rocks and sticks tumbling down a hillside in the wake of someone rushing to the top.
Asked to describe the sound to a friend, I came up with ‘Bowie meets Morrisey meets a circus accident‘. That doesn’t really make sense, but it’s appropriate because the sound is fluid and can’t really be quantified by the likes of me.
The reason for all this excitement is that I’m ordering a limited release disc from them. The packaging is hand-made and signed, so that’s kind of neat.
