These are a few shots I took last weekend at the Baxter Conservation Area.

Baxter is the only conservation area I've ever seen that didn't have a single, solitary garbage can. Instead, there's a pile of garbage accumulating beside the main parking lot. Bizarre.

Speaking of filth, Nero (now about 9 months old) spent a good 60 seconds rolling around on a dead fish before we could figure out what she was doing. Spayed or not, her energy level shows no sign of diminishing. She's flat-out nuts.

It is becoming more and more obvious that my D70 needs a sensor cleaning. I've got a couple of dust spots I can't remove with compressed air or any other method I'm brave enough to try.

Henry's seems to be the best local choice for service (has anybody dealt with them? Please let me know...), but I'm a bit nervous about having someone poke around the inside of my camera -- especially a someone that has the mighty Nikon D200 ready and waiting for impulse buyers to show up with cameras that need servicing!
