Until today I didn't know that Creative Commons offered jurisdictional licenses. The Creative Commons Worldwide page describes the process for creating licences specific to different geographic regions.

I've switched to the Canadian 'port', which was built with the help of the Law and Technology program at the University of Ottawa.

On a related note, selection of Creative Commons licenses still seem to be wonky in the latest version of Movable Type. I ended up activating the license and hard-coding the URI in two spots (search for and replace the 'creativecommons' lines, one in each file):

• [mt_installation_path]/lib/MT/Util.pm
• [mt_installation_path]/php/lib/cc_lib.php

Remember that you'll have to rebuild the pages that contain a Creative Commons link.
