I don't mean to toot my own horn, so to speak, but I'm going to bolster my "Ottawa drivers suck" theory with the above photograph. It was taken yesterday afternoon from my balcony. I had to use full zoom on my camera, so it is, as usual, quite blurry.
The lead car decided to simply stop in the middle of the road. You can see what happened next -- there are at least 5 cars involved, plus a presumed several more to the right (not visible because of a building).
As a fun side-note, the tow truck driver pulled a 3-point turn with one of the damaged cars on the centre median nearly causing another spectacular crash.
